How tecar working?
The Heat That Regenerates
TECAR is an innovative therapy that uses endogenous heat production to treat Musculoskeletal Traumas and Pathologies. The heat generated by the movement of electric charges stimulates repairing processes and has an antalgic and anti-inflammatory effect.

Capacitive Method
The Capacitive Method uses a plate and an insulated electrode to treat tissues that have low resistance to current: skin, connective tissue, circulatory system, lymphatic system. Resistive Method
The Resistive Method is performed with non-insulated electrodes and is indicated for the treatment of highly resistant tissues: bones, cartilages, tendons, ligaments, fascias and fibrotic tissues. With this method it is possible to focus the therapeutic action on a given body part by placing the electrodes properly: the therapeutic action will develop along the current path between the electrodes.

Functions
Muscle Relaxation
The precise and aimed effect of the Targeted Radiofrequency Therapy on the hypertonic muscle fibers causes their immediate relaxation. The effect of myorelaxation is primarily based on vasodilation, which occurs immediately during the therapy and is responsible for higher supply of nutrients into the tissue.
Tissue Regenration and Healing
The improvement of tissue metabolism is a natural and valuable secondary outcome of the therapy. It leads to faster healing of the traumatized soft tissue and faster reabsorption of post-injury haematomas.
Edema reducetion
